Drip Tape has evolved as a product of importance to commercial farmers and backyard gardeners. It is a thin walled drip line used in drip irrigation, ideal and economical for watering long, straight row crops. Water exits the tape through emitters or drippers. Drip tape also called collapsible hose is made of high quality polyethylene material that becomes round on being pressurised and losing shape once de-pressurised. Since it is a flat tube it is useful for reels containing several thousand feet and excellent with both surface and subsurface application. The nominal diameter ranges from 12 to 25 mm.
